Terms of Service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of electrolysiscourse.com (the "Site") and any courses purchased through it, operated by CLOWERA LLC ("we," "us," "our," or the "Company"). By using the Site, submitting a form, leaving a review, or enrolling in a course, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a course or submit information through the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others, interfere with the Site's operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its underlying systems. We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.

Course Access and Licensing

Our courses are educational content created by Aida Khazieva and provide theory and professional preparation. Completing a course does not grant you a state professional license and does not itself authorize you to practice any regulated service. Licensing requirements, including required in-person hours, exams, and fees, vary by state and change over time. Where a state requires in-person clinical training, our course serves as preparation only, and you are solely responsible for completing the required hours at a state-approved school and confirming current requirements with your state licensing board before practicing professionally or accepting payment for services. Refer to our state licensing guides for a general overview, which is not a substitute for confirming current rules directly with your state board.

Third-Party and Public Data

Portions of the Site, including school and practitioner directory listings, are compiled from public government datasets (such as US Department of Education NCES IPEDS records) and third-party professional association directories (such as the American Electrology Association). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any state licensing board, government agency, school, or professional association referenced on the Site, and inclusion of any school or practitioner listing is not an endorsement, referral, or guarantee of quality. Contact listed schools or practitioners directly to confirm current information.

Payments and Refunds

Course prices are shown at checkout. For the Electrolysis Course, a refund may be requested within 3 days of purchase if you are not satisfied, as described at the time of purchase and subject to any conditions stated at checkout. Cosmetology and Waxing course pricing and refund terms will be published when founding enrollment opens. All payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and your payment information is subject to that processor's own terms and privacy practices.

Account and Access

Purchased courses include lifetime access to the materials provided at the time of purchase, meaning access does not expire on a fixed schedule, though we reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue specific materials or platforms over time. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, if applicable, confidential, and for all activity under your account.

Intellectual Property

All course content, including videos, text, graphics, and downloadable materials, is owned by CLOWERA LLC or its licensors and is provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use only. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, resell, or create derivative works from course content without our prior written permission. Factual licensing information sourced from public government records is not subject to this restriction to the extent it remains in the public domain, but our original analysis, formatting, and presentation of that information are protected.

User-Submitted Content

When you submit a review, contact form, course submission, or other content, you agree that it is accurate and that you have the right to submit it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content on the Site and in related marketing, including your first name and general location if provided, unless you request otherwise in writing. We reserve the right to edit, decline to publish, or remove any user-submitted content at our discretion, including content we believe is false, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.

Assumption of Risk

Electrolysis and related beauty procedures described in our course content involve inherent risks, including skin reactions, discomfort, and, if performed incorrectly, more serious injury. Our course provides theoretical and preparatory education only. You acknowledge that any hands-on practice, whether during required in-person training or otherwise, carries inherent risk, and that you assume that risk. Nothing in our course content is a substitute for hands-on supervised training or your state's required competency verification.

Disclaimers

THE SITE AND COURSES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee employment, income, or licensure outcomes from completing a course, and we do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. See our Disclaimer for more detail, including on the accuracy of licensing information.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLOWERA LLC, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR COURSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY IS NOT EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR A COURSE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. [Placeholder: confirm this liability cap and any state-specific exceptions with legal counsel, since some states restrict certain liability limitations.]

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CLOWERA LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Site or courses, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including any claim arising from services you perform on a client.

Dispute Resolution

[Placeholder, to be finalized with legal counsel: we intend to include a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver here, consistent with CLOWERA LLC's jurisdiction of registration, along with an informal resolution step requiring you to contact us before filing a claim. Exact arbitration provider, rules, and any opt-out mechanism must be confirmed with counsel before publishing, since enforceability and required disclosures vary by state and by consumer-protection law.]

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to CLOWERA LLC's place of registration, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [Placeholder: exact governing law, venue, and jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel.]

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, internet or hosting outages, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and CLOWERA LLC regarding the Site and courses, and supersede any prior agreements on this subject.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes affecting purchased courses will be communicated to enrolled students where reasonably practical.
